David E. Brasel, MD
Dr. Brasel was born in Jacksonville, Illinois and attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he completed both his Residency and Neonatology Fellowship. He was an instructor at the University of Minnesota and the Assistant Director of NICU at Hennepin County Medical Center before becoming a staff neonatologist at Children's Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis campus. Currently, Dr. Brasel is the Director of the Infant Care Center, a unit that specializes in infants requiring long term care. His special areas of interest include Neonatal Resuscitation and Technology Dependent Infants.
